Brownies Keep Calm with Girl Power

Wessex Brownies were joined by SJII Brownies for a Girl Power Camp this weekend at Sembawang. 70 Brownies headed to the North of the Island to pitch tents, cook, build camp fires, toast Smores, BBQ sausages, enjoy lots of activities, and learn about inspirational women and how they have contributed to society today.
On Saturday morning we woke to a fantastic sunrise before Rainbow units joined us for fun and games, Whilst Brownies kept calm with Girl Power, the Rainbows Sparkled with Girl Power.
Saturday evening meant BBQ time - Bangers and Smores followed by a lantern parade and in true Guiding style a singsong around the camp fire.
Sunday morning meant it was time to pack away, and head home after our own Guides Own - Pow Wow and reflection of the weekend.
We would like to say a big, “Thank You,” to all those Mums and even a couple of Dads who volunteered their time to make this weekend possible.
